Just to defend myself...
The conversation went something like this (my re-worded version of it):
CHRISTIANE: Are you going to the book signing?
ME: No.
CHRISTIANE: Why not?
ME: What for? I don't want to.
CHRISTIANE: I thought you liked the book.
ME: I did!
CHRISTIANE: So go already. Have him sign it.
ME: No!
CHRISTIANE: Please?
ME: NO!!!!
CHRISTIANE: Can I bribe you?
ME: Depends on the bribe.
CHRISTIANE: Well, I had this idea....
Then she told me the idea, and I cracked up. Oh yes, I definitely want to go now. Wait till you see our surprise :) I'll be posting immediately after this shin-dig is over. I tried to set up a live feed on my laptop to host on Freakspeakers but at the moment, my computer is NOT COOPERATING (and I don't even know if they'd let me do it in there anyway). But, just in case that it doesn't work at all, our Freak Incognito that is pretending not to know me will be videotaping it for your viewing pleasure :)
And yes I will mention whether or not he smells good, just for your pervy thrills.
I WILL BE LIVE BLOGGING DURING THIS EVENT. CHECK BACK FREQUENTLY.
Unless, of course, they confiscate my laptop. Which always could happen.
