My mother died this year on March 10. She was 55 years old.

I miss her so much and am still heartbroken over her death because I was very close to her.

What I will miss the most is her touch, all I have left are pictures and memories. :(

I miss my mom as well today . I can't put my finger on it but it's just a very sad day for me.

I am so sorry to hear of your losses.

My mother passed away when I was very young. She has always been an inspiration for me, difficult shoes to fill in, but I hope I will get there. Someday. Working on it day by day.

As Tink said, its a sad day, when days lose their core meaning and significance. No matter how old you are, or how many children you have, your mom is your mom and your inner child will always crave for that unconditional love.

Let's celebrate and honor their legacy.

Well said Christiane, I miss my mom and even more so on days like today. But as I told my husband, do I really have to celebrate my sister getting knocked up!!

MANIFESTO

Don't think for me. Don't assume what I want to hear or read. Give me facts. Give me reasons. But not yours. Bring me debate. Enlighten me. Today, accountability is masked behind anonymity; bylines are hidden by zeros and ones. Everyone publishes; everyone is "in the know." Ethics are non-existent. Speculation is king. The truth is masked and a hostage. Empowered by our minds, WE ARE THE FREAKSPEAKERS!
